Dr. Christy Valentine

A New Orleans native, Christy Valentine, MD, MBA received her medical degree from the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, and completed her residency at Tulane University specializing in Pediatrics and Internal Medicine. Dr. Valentine received a Merit Scholarship and completed her MBA from the University of Chicago-Booth School of Business. She has held numerous positions and appointments including a 2008 appointment to serve as a New Orleans East Hospital Board Commissioner; and a 2014 appointment to serve on the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners (LSBME). She is currently the Immediate Past President of the LSBME. Dr. Valentine previously served as Louisiana Statewide Medical Director for Reproductive Health and Medical Consultant for the Louisiana Bureau of Community Preparedness. She was Vice-President of the Louisiana Medical Association from 2017-2019.  She is the President of the New Orleans Medical Association.
